The Society has placed green plaques on buildings of note in Cogenhoe.  The plaques take our objectives another step forward by highlighting a number of properties which have played their part in our village’s history. We hope you enjoy our trail.

If you are interested in our heritage, please consider joining our society, or coming to a meeting (usually on the second Wednesday of the month).  You will find our programme here.

We have produced a leaflet telling the stories of those properties and  the people who occupied them in past times.  Copies are available in the Royal Oak and the Londis shop or you can download it here.  The leaflet was kindly designed by Squarebear who used to have their offices in the Old School.

The project was awarded ‘Highly Commended’ in the Northamptonshire Heritage Forum Awards 2019.
